Ethical Collapse

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://problemattic.app/problem-details/ethical-collapse

This is a good article on this subject. Basically a company starts out with good intentions then grows to a scale where various pressures challenge its morals and its people buckle under impossible expectations. An example that comes to mind: Google with its famous “don’t be evil” mantra after it becomes a publicly-traded company pressured by expectations from investors will forsake its morals and cave to CCP censorship regime in order to expand to the Chinese market.
